Top 13 one-hit video game characters I'd really want to see more

Top 13 one-hit videogame characters I'd really want to see more (in no particular order)

1. Garcia Hotspur (Shadows of the Damned)

Garcia Hotspur really had a lot of distinct, unique features that really mad him stood out than the rest of gaming crowd. He wears purple, had a lot of tattoos, hispanic, slightly illiterate, and did a lot of unintentional jokes. The character really showed a long of background history just by looking at the way he behaves, the way he talks, and his tattoos. Now the sad thing is, this background story just isn't explored enough in his 10-hour-ish adventure, even his relationship with Paula - the mistress of the underworld - are only told via narrative in-game dialogue with his gun, Johnson.

A sequel of SotD was planned in early 2012. Please, Suda51, Shinji Mikami, EA, make it happen.

2. Hibana (Kunoichi)

Just look at her, she's sizzling hot. And her laid-back, slightly lazy, unmotivated and reluctant-to-do-stuff attitude just made her even hotter. There's so much to explore about Hibana, she is definitely had a lot more to offer than some overly-sexualized ninja girls (yeah I'm talking about you, DoA ninjas), Hibana's graceful movements and attitude, lightning fast killer moves and sexy design leaving gamers wanting more of her.

Uh, SEGA, since you have one more game contract with Platinum games, maybe bringing her back on a sequel would be a good idea? just saying.

3. Alicia (Bullet Witch)

She's beautiful, she had a distinct silhouette, a lot of awesome weapons and superpowers, and a fitting post-apocalyptic background - all the solid features to create a new franchise. Now the thing is, her game sucked big time. To add insult to the injury, enter Bayonetta, (which probably had the best melee combat in 7th generation gaming) and the next thing we know is, people just forget her forever.
Bye bye Alicia, I really want to see more of you, I really do.

4. Gene (God Hand)

He starred in a game which is quite probably one of the worst game of all time and one of the best game of all time, all in the same game. No need for further words, just check out this youtube video, you'll see why I - and the rest of the world - NEED him more.

5. Nemo (Ace Combat Electrosphere)

ALL Ace Combat protagonists are one-hit wonders: Garuda, Mobius One, Kid, even the colonel - what was his name? - Warwolf 1. But Nemo stood out, his background story, supporting characters, and multiple endings really made the fans crave for a sequel, prequel, remake, reboot, ANYTHING!

Fans even made a signature gathering to prove my point here.

6. Nilin (Remember Me)

To tell you the truth, I haven't played this game (yeah I'm so busy I won't be playing any games till May). But all these end-of-7th-gen-games' characters, no one piques my interest more than Nilin, both design-wise, storyline, and gameplay-wise. It will be a shame to leave her just as a one- hit wonder.

7. Lomax (Adventures of Lomax)

If you're not familiar with the Lemmings, here's a little history lesson: The Lemmings are a very popular game franchise back in the 90's. Lemmings are stupid creatures, they need you for them to avoid screwing up and being dead. And Lomax, is the smartest guy of all of the Lemmings.
Set in a solid, beautiful magical-slash-classic fantasy world, the Adventures of Lomax (albeit being one of the hardest platformers ever made) is something I really want to see remade in next gen.

But then again, with the popularity of the Lemmings dwindling into handhelds and phone games over the last 10 years, i guess this is just a wishful thinking.

8. Vanessa Z Schneider (PN03)

Here's a bit of history lesson: PN03 was among the ambitious 6th gen Capcom projects called Capcom 5 conceived by the legendary Shinji Mikami. Initially consisting of 5 Capcom games released exclusively to Gamecube, it turns out they only made 4 of them, and all of those games were imported to other consoles: ps2 and xbox, EXCEPT PN03. The game wasn't good. BUT! the protagonist, Vanessa was so friggin hot that it earned her a large fanbase, almost a cult following.

Frankly speaking, i never played PN03. But from these screenshots and artworks, I really want her in next-gen graphics. In the next MVC, maybe?

9. Sheva Alomar (RE5)

Say i would list a top 10 most attractive girls in video gaming ever, Sheva would definitely be on the top 5 - maybe top 3. She's beautiful, strong, and constructed a far more solid character, personality-wise, than the whole new cast of Resident Evil 6. Another reason why I put her on this list is because lately Resident Evil has been short on non-caucasian characters. Seriously, this may sound a bit racist, but caucasian characters are getting a bit boring; why not  put more black protagonists? or hispanic? or arabic? that would make things fresh. The series NEED more freshness.

10. Hayden Tenno (Dark Sector)

Playing as him sort of brings me back to my childhood days watching Kamen Rider Black- in a more gritty way. Sure Hayden Tenno isn't the best looking guy in this list, but he's definitely one of the more thoroughly designed - gameplay-wise. Srsly, not only him, the whole universe of this game is a big room for expansion.
But then again, I guess a sequel would never come, since the developers would've done it long ago instead of making Warframe.

11. Sam Gideon (Vanquish)

Sure he has one of the worst voice acting and cheesiest one-liners in the world of videogaming. But try this 3 things: look at his awesome armor, look at the awesome critics' reception, and play the awesome game. You'll want more of him.

12. Rue and Mint (Dewprism)

This game was developed during the PSone era - which in my humble opinion, was the golden age of videogaming. Both characters, had so distinct style of design and gameplay, they made a very unique, different feel of the game on each playthrough, something that is rare in gaming nowadays.
Sadly, now that Square Enix is so focused in making pretty boys and selling lightning's silly costumes, them creating more masterpieces like Dewprism is just a wishful thinking.

13. Rena Hayami (R Racing Evolution)

A story driven racing game had never been done better than R Racing Evolution - not even the NFS series. And Rena Hayami fits the whole scene like a glove. Not to mention she's among the prettiest girl Namco has ever built (and Namco's girls are sizzling hot, mind you.)
